I remember.... As a VERY small child.... going from home [S/Sh] to NCL on the bus. It would come over the Tyne bridge and make a right (past the front entrance of the carpark, see with those arrows) * No carpark existed *  then take a left under the Manors railway arch [still there AFAIK] and drive up and along a road (see cars top left of image) then turn left again and drop into the bottom of Worswick St bus station...

The stub ends of this road journey are now left 'snipped through' by the Mway.... Not even begun to be laid >> through the two white pillar/legs nearest camera, bottom of pic.
