That's got all your major food groups represented.

You've got your French. You've got your German. You've got your American, and you've got your broken English.

But none of those funny little Japanese cars!

Oh yeah. Well shut my mouth. Farnons was two buildings and massive.

What a mistake-a to make-a.

Isn’t it where Wilko’s is now, runs between the two?

I wonder if James Herriot noticed the name Farnon from the shop when he needed an alias for his sibling co-vets when writing his books.  Almost everyone in it was based on someone real but had he changed their names to protect the innocent.

What's the blue and white car opposite the Imp? Looks familiar but I can't place it.

Ref: Get Carter Multi.....

I think I commented [years??ago..] on how I watched the mahoisive hole being dug [for metro interchange] in what was that 'rough land' car parking space .. and what looked like a 4 storey building built in it, up to 'street level'.

Ma n Pa shopped at the supermarket, under car park, and I loved checking out the view....

*Bonus Brucie Points, here... When the central motorway was being cut through the city.... Large cement 'voids' were created beneath the route for the [then not even begun] Metro to access the Grey's Monument station, in from the Coast via Manors station 🧐
