I 've just put new secondhand heavy duty rear springs on my T4 .. sod lowering .. Shes got a BIG GAP now ! Adrian Newey says its all about rake. Boy have i got some rake ! Feels a bit wobbly on a bend mind you . This is fully loaded .

My old man's a surfer and whenever he sees one of them down Llangenith, he cracks up watching them try to take them into the billiard table smooth* carpark (Skizzer will know this place well, I'm sure) and then goes on a rant about how they're not fit to surf their waters, fucking posers, etc.

 

He gets quite cross about the whole thing.

I cant sell it.. because people keep bumping into it .And that makes money because its a VW t4!  That nick on the tailgate by the swage line .. a dustcart turning ...made me 900 quid cash in lieu.

I sprayed that lower panel this week as someone put a dent in it  , i got only 250 cash in lieu for that, mind !  The front bumper and wing took a little knock and i got 2k cash in lieu for that ..Next time it'll be a write off..and i'll get loads of wonga ,as its a T4 , and  surfers have pushed the residual values of them sky high . Bloody good van though ,its NEVER broken down , and it does work hard .

On holiday the other week a nearby campsite had reams of these, pretty much all in garish colours with huge 'VW' stickers and side windows. It would certainly seem that about 98% of them were camping in tents, not in their 'camper vans'
