No, it doesn't.

Ken, in the boxes there are two old rotor arm/caps and the whole old distributor just without the condenser. Did you change that?

The distributor fitted is slightly different to the ones I can find online. It has a plastic casing under the rotor arm.

No, nothing to do with me but the previous owner did a lot of work on the engine.

Don't forget that this is a TR7 engine.

I also changed the overdrive switch. Not had an opportunity to test it. Plus the stick is still in two pieces...

It's not the condenser.

The distributor has a electronic ignition module in place of the breaker point. So correct me if I'm wrong there's no condenser there at all...

After a brainstorming session with a colleague at work who used to be a mechanic my next points of investigation are going to be carbs mounting points and gaskets.

I also need to have a proper look at the fuel pump...

Will keep you updated.

Anyone wants a new standard TR7 condenser for the price of postage?

Probably my second to last update on this lovely car.

Issues with running when warm might be caused by this:

Both carb mountings seem to be cracked.

That's annoying as they were all NOS when the previous owner fitted them. new rubber or indeed solid ones will be going on.

I'll do the spray some wd40 on them and see if I can eliminate them being cracked all the way through or whatevs.

I will bloody regret this....

I already do.
