I'll let my mate know - he got let down on one recently, and was gutted.

Cheap that for a 'cat, good bikes, I had one when they were new.

Just thinking, if my mate doesn't have it, I will have no choice but to have it myself. Be very rude not too.

Just done some costings - train is £203. EasyJet £37.00. I can find no excuse not too...........I hope my mate really wants it.

Incidentally my GSX-R1000 does 105mph in first gear (and I still have my licence).

HI MATE DO YOU STILL HAVE THE BIKE IS IT FAST SORRY FOR ALL THE QUESTIONS?

My GSXR 750 does 170mph and I still have a license too, funny that, took my mate for a spin on the Fazer thou and pulled a nice 1/4 mile 90mph wheelie, he muttered the immortal words 'I could never have a bike, I'd kill myself' muppet!

Collected today, but no photo thread. Nice bike, and seller (good to meet you). Big bonus was i also had a lesson in how to properly filter used veg oil - not as expensive to do as I was led to believe.

Anyway, seven and a half hours to ride home from MMR's to Chez Whysub in Essex, dry all the way, even with sun in Scotland.

This is the second bike purchased from AS'ers, so maybe four wheels next time - unless someone knows where there's a Jawa 350 for sale.

thanks whysub emailed v5

anyone selling a cheapis big single or diesel bike pls let me know

yup diesel bike slow noisy usually jap water pump engines or stationary engines expensive ones use smart car engine

A mate has an Enfield fitted with a Briggs & Stratton lump out of a cement mixer. Hardly fast but 200 mpg.

Saw hardly any chod yesterday on my ride through Scotland -except a white, K reg Volvo 240 estate, and a navy blue L reg 214 Rover. I thought the roads of Scotland were paved with chod and the SVM?

Chap in Ireland fits a Diahatsu 3cyl td into Triumph Tigers but they aren't cheap..

And if you can find 1 the US military use a Kawasaki KLR650 fitted with a diesel

I had this printed onto a black t-shirt. It certainly wasn't appreciated by some H-D riders, although B & S did make their own motorcycles.

Oops. Just seen this. Obviously not reading the forum enough.

Guess it's too late to say that I'll be driving an empty transit sized van from Helensburgh-ish to South of London in the next few weeks?

Posted

yes pity collected yesterday could have saved him some cash

Posted

Could have saved me a few quid BUT I would not have had the pleasure of giving it a lengthy ride, learning about veg, and seeing Scotland in sunshine!!!
