Any, any, any, any. Wefindantcar! Dotautoshitedotcom!

Your mission is to find a terrible shagged out car, ideally recently crashed, hopefully in need of a few hundred quids worth of immediate work, with a broken drivers window (ideally) and a Lucas fuel pump.

I know its asking a lot, but I would really like to buy one from a dealer trying to wring as much profit as possible out of what is basically an end of life vehicle.

Hopefully with a fucked clutch and in need of a cam belt.

Go!

Winner gets two three numbers in the draw when I get sick of it after a month and roffle it.

And a free decal.

Does anything that you kindly posted run on straight veg man? I'm guessing the 306 might, if it has a Bosch pump.

The early (upto about 2002/3) VAG Tdis will run on veg no problem- bosch pumped. Skattrd on here has a Bora with that lump and many thousands of veg based mileage.

I'll be running my Octavia on it as soon as I run out the current tank of derv.

Looks nice that. Too high roller for a work comuter though. I might as well drive one of the pez cars I current own to get 30mpg. Insurance would eat up any actual fuel savings too.

Verdict: not for me.

Bah! You wanted the nicest MOT'd car within budget and now you're packing in a load of other caveats?

Ah'm oot.

So you want a cheap to run Veg muncher then?

Skattrd has a c250 Td Merc estate for sale- the 2.5 om605 engine will run on veg. he gets mid 40s mpg out it.

There's a BX diesel for sale down here in Teesside, my mate saw it the other day. I will check it out on my way home this afternoon.

Have you thought about being a bit fussier? Coz, like with just over £500, the world is literally your oyster.

Indeed, if I had the right amount of money for what I want, I wouldn't need any help finding one. It would be no challenge and there would be no requirement to write this thread.

That's kind of the point of the thread.

Sorry, this prob should go on the silly question thread but how can you tell what motor will run on veg? Is it all to do with the fuel pump, and if so why?

We find anyshite.com, we find anyshite.com from £50 to £588. we find,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Even at 30mpg, if you're on Waste Veg it does about 80 mpg equivilent based on £1.20 for a litre of dino juice.

Bargainz

You would have to immerse the bastard in veg to stop it dissolving.

100l in tightly* sealed containers in the boot, a roundabout and some right foot should sort that rate oot
