Ten years on and I still fancy owning one of these but still put off by definite tit-ness.

Any modern Range Rover - they just look ridiculous and I feel sorry for the owners.

Reminds me of this...

Even in the L322 I feel like people look at it and mutter cunt under their breath.

They're right though, so it doesn't bother me.

That's the trouble. I would feel like a twat, and they're just a touch too big.

Plus the fact there will always be something broken, possibly ruinously

There are a few cars I like but feel a tit driving, I had two Mini Mokes in succession when I was younger, I also quite like the idea of a beach buggy but would feel a bit of a tit driving it, especially considering I am a man in my mid fifties with not much hair. I have always felt a bit of a tit in convertibles, I like my TVR but not the attention. Throughout the late eighties until 2007 I drove scruffy Cortina’s as my everyday car when they were considered bangers but was never really embarrassed as I loved them so got very thick skinned. Driving er indoors yellow Seicento sporting with all her tat (fluffy toys) in it made me slightly self conscious but I wasn’t too bothered, similarly her Panda, MGF and BMW Z4, all of which are ok but not cars I would want, with the possible exception of the Panda. On a similar note cars I hate and would be extremely embarrassed to drive are SUV’s, totally ridiculous and pointless crap, yet there seems no other option on the company car list when mine is due for change at the end of the year!

Any big  yank tank with a massively loud V8.

Have to stick up for the Bini. Wife is on her second one. PHEV Countryman. Serious quick car , excellent to drive, nice auto box, no CVT shite.
