If you have the windows up and the roof down, you barely notice any wind or noise. With all the windows down, it was ace to drive, we had a few nice runs to country pubs in it.

Yeah, I'm aware that my arse has now graced a slice of cow that once cradled the buttocks of the famous Billy Cavcraft. I'm in awe!

Windows up, roof down isn't bad at all but the same in the F was 100% wind-free with the deflector up. Be nice in the summer, I was just being a bit of a bell on the M42 today so it was possibly colder than is ideal.

No cupholders, I don't think?

Windows up- 90 on the M5 was only just starting to get a bit blowy in the cab...

Bloody 'ell man, I wish I'd announced I was off, as I found myself frolicking between "The Black Country" and "Birmingham".

Well done on purchase. Could well turn out to be a larger version of the MG ;D

I love the look of these. Of course totally impractical for me [read SWMBO wont approve].

Lovely.

Enjoy.

Why won't approve? Four seats, toasty with the roof up thanks to proper good heaters and bumwarmers, doesn't advertise itself to be a fast car. Plus with a privvy plate on, the model went to 2003 and the later ones look very similar so if she doesn't like old cars, it can look newer.

Maybe the aim is to light the rest of it up by making the speedo needle point to the numbers, kind of like a licence loosing price is right

Turns out, it does do this! If you go over 85mph, the rest of the speedo lights up.

Writing on paper was done. Prodding too. Positive noises were emitted. A car was bought. And fuelled.

This thing is quick enough! Not silly quick, but fast enough to make you forget the speedo shouldn't really go into that bit.

Nice, you bought a MK1 focus, whats it like  :-)
