Old Japanese moped wanted

Recommended Posts

I'm wanting to save 20 quid a week using a horrid moped through the horrid Mersey Tunnel and its yearly toll increases.

I'm after one of those weird Honda mopeds from the 80s or anything similar looking if anyone has something?

This is a Honda, weird, from the '80s, in the North West and it's cheap.  Needs a bit of TLC though.

Always wanted a Stream but a bit too much for me messing around wise! Spacey looks nice though!

I would totally recommend the Spacy, as long as the exhaust is sound you can sort everything else.

well, I have a brace of Honda NF 75's, for my sins !!   wouldn't want to ride one from dorset up to Merseyside though !!!!!    have you got a van ?

Was the Stream the one with the fancy (OK, pretty cool!) retractable headlamp?

I went through the Mersey tunnel on my Vespa with about 50 others a few years back. I couldn't see, hear or breath for about 3 months.

Ooft. I like NF 75's. What's the details?

NF75s are GR9.  Not much quicker than a modern (de-restricted) 50 on the flat, but leave them for dead up hills.

After today's expedition to Bristol (400 miles) to collect an engine -that was still in the car when i got there-, the furthest I'm travelling to collect anything car related from now on is my garage, I've had enough.

Did the 'capital of culture 2008' with its rich heritage of the Beatles in the 60's and Ricky Tomlinson take your breath away?
