Any badges/emblems and whatnot that you horde gathering dust.

I especially like this old Renner whatsit- the fashion conscious Shiter could stick it on a gold chain and be yoof like Jensen Hamilton.

I purchase any that I like, especially ' 60s/70s stuff. If it's rare I sometimes move it on.

Same, except replace '70s' with '90s' and 'about 800 quid' with 'pee pee poo poo'.

I used to collect them as well back in the 80's but all have been lost over the years. I have got this though.post-5515-0-93469300-1432275628_thumb.jpg

Somewhere*, I have the plastic emblem from a 60s Fiat 600 and a maHOOsive metal badge off a Bedford truck.

I'd really should have a badge from a combine harvester but I think they usually just paint the name on.

I imagine the 'Combi' is difficult to find. Re-plating possible?

...was it your Borgward Isabella I saw on a Tuesday night at the Ace Cafe about 4 years ago?

It did appear at the Ace once, or at least the bare shell did, on its way to North Wales for storage.  I think 3D printing might be the solution to rare badges.  If you can scan an original You could print one 5-10% larger and then use that as a master for brass casting or similar.  Or just wrap a 1:1 printed one in kitchen foil.

Got quite a few dotted around the house plus a tin full in the shed. Most purloined from scrappers in the 70s...Sold some for strong money which I have now spent. Been better off left in the tin....

On my office wall. One day I'll get round to wiring in a battery for the bulb.

That is a work of art. Love the Douglas one...

I don't have many, other than the ones attached to my cars.

The CF badge and number plate letters (can't remember their correct order) were from an R reg CF tipper that was rotten.

The AEC badge came from a 1967 Ergomatic 8 wheeler flatbed that was also totally rotten!

I've got a few others laying around somewhere, a Minor 1000 metal badge being one of them. Can't find them though!

Love that AEC one

Reminds me of Supermans pants

On the right is the greatest badge ever, no arguments, and my most treasured possession, I fondle and admire it regularly.
