I'm currently trying to do a deal on a new Legacy but if that falls through, I may be back ;)

I've managed to bodge it with some cable ties, it now selects all gears but is easiest to use from 2nd to 6th. The oil leak is pretty bad though.

It looks as though it's coming from a pipe connected to the turbo, I think a replacement pipe is going to be £20-£30.

I don't have any photos of the seats but I'm pretty sure they are in decent condition with no wear on them. They are black leather. 4143dd80e93d59098d4114a49a75dcdb.jpg

Also managed to get the pipe off, ended up having to cut it in half to get it out but I could tell it was split at one end.
I think it's possible to replace it with a braided pipe which should be much easier to fit and less prone to getting damaged. 5f58e188adb036ebeb2462f6951f1a55.jpgcdbc5fcdd9128e4caf72e94a29a46392.jpg626cc2ea5da4894a1b43648da9ab68ad.jpg080b056a0095782e53ce85df60e22b3b.jpg

Amazing, it hasn't run in three years and it started with a jump! Anyone know if the rev counter clocks will fit straight into a non rev counter Felicia? I know they are physically the same size but I'm hoping they are plug and play.

That'll still be the old Estelle era 135 OHV engine in that won't it?

If so absolutely no surprise it just fired up...Clatter like all hell, but it will keep going until Doomsday.

That Felicia is ace, they all are.

Woefully shit in most ways apart from being utterly dependable transport. They’ve been bangers for so long too, most of them look as fucked as that one.

Swapped the clocks between the early and late Felicia's and sold the late (red) one.

The Subaru is being used in a Bollywood film called "83" I've had some amount of bother from them wanting a period correct head unit. I had a selection to choose from and they kept changing their minds, I asked if it needed to work and the answer was no but then they decided it must illuminate so I've had to wire it into the loom to make sure it's all working. The light in the stereo is so dim it's impossible to tell in daylight and it's being filmed during the day.

They went for this one which I removed from a 1990's Proton, I think it's late 80's maybe 87 or 88.

I did show them another which was made in 1983 and they didn't want it but I've to bring it just in case...

I replaced it with the braided feed pipe.

Also replaced the gear linkage bushing, what a faff it was changing it.
After that I stuck it on Gumtree and it sold within a couple of hours.

All that fucking about wanting a particular head unit and they fitted a 1960s numberplate...

Yes, it was a complete shitshow. I don't think I'd do another Bollywood movie, we were there for 14 hours. It hardly seems worth the effort for £300.

I thought I was getting it bad with them climbing all over my Subaru but the guy with the Capri convertible had loads of filming rig stuck all over his car and he forgot to tell them to turn on the electric fan so it overheated and kept breaking down.

The Subaru handled it well all day and didn't have any problems.

This failed its test on Friday but I'm hopefully going to see someone breaking a 280e this afternoon so should be able to buy most of the bits I need to see a pass.
It needs steering sorted, brakes, lights and a couple of bits of welding. 0d0b2b462c0478892e8cf8613ae638e9.jpg
