Miss Alf has gone to the dark side and purchased a new car so this has to go.

 

It has been first car to both of my daughters and really has been great. I bought it in 2008 and gave it a good service and fitted a new clutch. Also fitted at this time was power steering which uses all Vauxhall parts. Since then it has been serviced every year. Last cam belt was 2012 when I also did the head gasket. Had to fit a new sump in the last year or so as it rotted through.

Anyway here it is....

 

 

 

 

 

Mileage is just under 84000 and mot mid June. Has rust hole in back of spare wheel well but not structural so your could no nail a piece of bean can over it. You could also nail it on come to think of it.. It has the usual bulging chassis rail at n/s/f but mot man has been happy enough with that the last 7 years. When I first got it I did cut the o/s one open for a look but it was fine so I just plated it as I had already stripped the inside for a weldathon. Anyway enough rambling........It is the 1.2 8v with single point injection so no racer.

Yes..........Has been a great little car this but it has always been me that has kept it clean. Like a bloody tip inside mind you! Might muck it out tomorrow........

Well this sat on the drive till last month when a friend of Mrs Alf's expressed an interest. I'm never that keen selling to friends so gave a price of 350 with a new test.........and they agreed.

 

So I gave it a service on Saturday and took it for test today.

 

All Vauxhalls are ace.......

 

I'm contracted to MoT it next year too........you don't get that on many 350 quid motors!
