Poor quality I'm afraid, they're old photographs I've copied with a digital camera. A few figures... 17' 11" long, 2 tons, 5972cc v8 and 15mpg

A few hours after buying it (notice ear-to-ear grin)

That is stunning! You must have been made up with that!

If you look back at what we were driving at the time it shows just how far behind we were in this part of the world.

As if I wasn't jealous enough already...  Oh boy that's a lovely Cadillac!

I really want a 1967 Chevy Impala in black.

So does everyone else who's seen Supernatural!  It's the new 69 Charger!   I dunno, I'm surrounded by fashion victims here....

Yes, but I would at least oil the bloody door hinges. That does annoy me.

It is such a bloody lovely looking car though. Damn.

I really don't like the whole "truck" thing but would love an El Camino.

Had the chance of one a few years back but too chicken to import it.

El Camino's are lovely old things, especially the big block ones.

The place that brought my Merc over had an orange one in the warehouse that someone had bought, described as rust free and original. I looked inside and the interior had been stripped out to reveal some very original looking roadworks signs rivitted over the rotten floor pans! Apparently the owner wasn't happy!

I've always preferred the Ford Ranchero myself when it comes to car based trucks.

I think that Chrysler is a right looker personally.

Something like that would be ideal over here, big but not too big and unmistakenly american.

I have to correct my satement, that in the UK yanks are listed for twice of what they are worth.

It's three times of what they are worth.

Yeah... But it's got Magstars

A fair price 'round these parts too. $1750 USD or thereabouts, so $2200-$2500 all in for a good beater. Sub-20 MPG but "There's more to life than gas mileage!" --eddyramrod

I love those wheels, my 1980 Buick Century had a set.  Not sure I'd pay 1400 for them surrounded by project car though!

Project car?

Put some petrol in and drive those godforsaken stupid wheels off that motherfucker, without paying £5,000, like you would have to in the UK.
