If the racers are the ones willing to pay then sell it to them. More often than not they're the easier option than trying to flog cars to the 'enthusiast' mob anyway.

 

Racers don't ask if a 40 year old car has ever been smoked in, they don't care of the chrome is slightly pitted, and they tend to turn up with actual money instead of sob stories.

 

Someone should start a Banger-Trader to make it easier to get rid of cars the 'classic' mob can't bring themselves to part with actual money for.

I fell hook, line and sinker for it too! I sat there at work this morning moaning about how a decent car was going to be raced and feeling really pissed off about it!

You got me too, ya bastad.  Luckily I resisted the temptation to post anything offensive after I read this first thing this morning, but (as I'm off work today) I've been doing A LOT of digging in the garden to work it off.

 

I'm also pleased to learn, as of 12 o'clock, that we are NOT being sued by someone whose dog got bitten by ours when he was in kennels, and nor has my mate been arrested for punching his neighbour's lights out.

 

 

I have clearly become a good deal more gullible since I stopped spending so much time in London.
