Event Footman James Indoor Classic Carshow 18-20 September 2015 Shitestand

Hi Everybody

I am going to apply for a Shitestand at Footman James Indoor Classic Car Show for 18-20 2015 .

We got a stand last year ,although had to scrounge some cars at last min due to lack of autoshite cars

 

I know it is early but does give time for interested party's to plan ahead as you will need to leave your car at event city for 3 days , Peter brought his p6 last year and enjoyed the event ,I had my Allegro Super there with my good Friend Phil's Deluxe and a very nice cooper lent to us by the amazing Tanya Field, Junkman had his P6 on the rover stand and Dr Smiths 205 was outside ,sadly

I am going to book a 4-6 car stand with the hope we can have 4 -5 cars  with a bit of space .

If anybody will endeavour to display a car ,please let me know , would be good to get interesting cars there .

If you display a car you get an entry wristband saving you £15

Likewise, I can offer the ex Bollox/six cylinder/phil_lip/Robt rover 220 sli which certainly carries with it a story and the ethos of the forum, although you might be after something a bit more left field than an R8

 

I'd have to polish up the " powertrain by bollox " commemorative engine plaque especially.

The problem* with this forum is everyone will have changed cars six times by then! I just thought September, I'll have definitely moved the F on by then - hopefully mid summer so I can share the sunshine with whoever is next.

Colt isn't really 'showy', and the Rover probably won't be finished until October. 2025.

I've no idea what cars I'll have, but odds are I'll still have a scruffy but road legal Beta Spyder if that sort of thing is acceptable.

TBH, I seem to be calming down on the constantly changing cars thang, a bit like women. Its not that I don't want the slutty little minx that it openly offering itself to me, its more that I can't really be arsed dealing with all her shit straight after sorting out the last bitches problems.

 

So I reckon that unless we have a serious breakdown where it cheats on me and I bury it under the patio, I will still have the Visa.

I'd love to be part of it. My Allegro will hopefully be too mint for Autoshite by then, but I'd like to volunteer my rustic Renault 5 and maybe the Sinclair C5 too.
