Luckily we all earn 6 figures now and the cost of everything else like food and housing has gone down substantially. 

Even at £1650 it doesn't look a bad buy now. It's £850 for a 1.4 Rover 25

It was sold new by Rodgers of Plymouth iirc. Used to have the dealer plate surrounds on it.
