Wanted Injector pipe Wanted for my Citroen ZX TD

After loaning out my ZX TD it dumped my friend in Burgess Hill! I have now trailered the car home and taken it to a garage who have diagnosed a broken injector pipe.

 

What I need is a a no. 2 injector pipe for a 1996 Citroen ZX Turbo Diesel with a Lucas pump.

 

Anybody have one?

I'm a few thousand miles away, but Will may be able to get the bits to you.

Unfortunately I don't know what it looks like as the car is 20 miles away. I will ask the garage to take it off for me on Monday  so I stand a better chance to be able to identify it visually.

 

I have spoken to 3 beakers including a specialist French breaker A5 Salvage and they all say they haven't broken one of those for a while. I have also spoken to pirtech who make hydraulic pipes but they say they do not stock the correct pipe wall thickness.

 

I have spoken to the dealer in Milton Keynes who says he should be able to get me a set of 4 for £44 in about three working days if I get the pump number.

 

I run out of time today but have a couple of other things to try, I have a local brake line firm Automec who helped me out with my Oltcit brake pipes to try along with asking the local Diesel injection firm where they get there pipes.

 

I was just hoping somebody on here has more knowledge than me and get me pointed in the right direction.

You want to get that looked at as it seems someone has plumbed a grenade into your engine

Thanks to explosive-cabbage I am moving forward, he has now sent me a set of injector pipes because I could not get hold of my garage to confirm if the no.2 injector was counted from left or right. So hopefully Tuesday I will have the pipes.

The pipes arrived today and I have taken them to my garage but they did not have time to fit them today, so you will all have to wait for the next nail biting episode!!!!

I have collected the ZX following a call from the garage to say it was ready, all sorted and running very well.
