Not going to be getting this now. No reflection on the car as I do miss it, but the reason I sold it was I was not using it enough.

(Did less than 100 miles in the last year of my ownership, only realised when I dug out the old MOT's when I sold it)

Would highly recommend it though, Air con not working should hopefully just be a regas, as aware I changed a couple of pipes on the front, but still had a small loss that I could never get to the bottom of. (Just regassed it every couple of years)

Also to mention it has traction control, which works really well in the snow.

The door cards with the walnut cappings (not real wood) are also quite rare, and were an option on the V6 only I believe.

Also its got the fittings/holes for a Saab Wind breaker that fits over the rear seats, and does make a big difference. I sold it a couple of years before I sold the car as I never used it as I normally had the kids in the back, but they are quite cheap to pick up from e-bay and make a real difference if just the two bods in the front.

Once again apologies to "The Moog", but just wanted to explain the reasons why I had withdrawn from the sale, and that is was nothing to do with the actual car.

Thanks

Wish I could talk Mrs Smooth into this, but she won't let go of her bloody Pajero.

I hate the thing, it's like driving a tractor.

No more love for this?

Been offered £180 scrap for it but seems a waste for something that only needs a roll of gaffer tape to fix.

Not sure whether to try ebay or cut losses

Oh no. Convertible want levels high. Will be in the north Wednesday. Recently paid.

May need to be extra nice to mrs the princess. Can I let you know this afternoon?

Posted

At work during the day, will be back around 6 or alternatively I am around Thursday / Friday.

Posted

I'm glad this looks like it's being sold, I really don't need another car right now.

Posted

I think Mr The Princess will be owning this soon. 😊

Collection confirmed for Wednesday. Just need to sort out some insurance, bastards.

Cor Craig, you really have gone all topless. Interesting to compare the two vehicles.

Thankful those pictures will not be uploaded Ken!

Yes, should be quite a different experience driving them back to back on Wednesday

Posted

I know I bang on about them but try Peter Best Insurance Services.

I paid just under £100 a year with Footman James, but that was a limited mileage policy and car garaged overnight.

Glad she is going to a new home.

cheers

Picking it on the way back from dropping off the MGF with Mr Shitpeas, more than welcome to come along for a blast.

Posted

Current situation. 3 1/2 hours late delivering the MGF due to horrible traffic and a rubbish route decision. No time for a chat with Mr Shitpeas or lunch and will be an hour late for the Moog. Now heading to Accrington via Leeds.

The Moog I have sent you my number by DM, sorry about pissing about
