bigstraight6 Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 Some great stuff on this site chaps! http://my.net-link.net/~dcline/limoair1.htm
Spottedlaurel Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 Some wonderful ones there, the best of them stretch the proportions and make the car look even more elegant, then some that are dire! Some of the 1980s FWD stretches are a bit unfortunate...

Milford Cubicle Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 Stretched 9000s look pretty good As do these Rover 800s, if not fitted with a set of brittle auto tat warehouse wheel trims
Owain-328i Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 Theres only one limo thats gona cut it for me. I like to be seen when i arrive at these functions; Perfect, but ditch the flags on the front.
Milford Cubicle Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 Convertible presidential limo, gr8 idea! The French PM obviously wasn't put off by the JFK incident
Owain-328i Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 Yes GR8 4 ASSASINATION, however i think its well worth running the risk of maybe getting shot, to ride around in a stretch lincoln continental drop top. Its all about the pose. Heads off to him, errrr i mean hats off to him.
pompei Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^Is that the fuel tank behind the front right-hand side wheel arch?
HillmanImp Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 There used to be what i remember as being a BMW 5 series stretch limo that had been botched just off Littleampton seafront when i was a kid. It was in a pretty sorry state as it had been left for some years. The story was that some guy had started to built it himself but before he had got a chance to finish it BMW had got sniff of it and sued him as they had not given him authority to build a stretch limo version of one of their cars. This apparently bankrupted him and the car just lay there for years to come (i doubt if it is there anymore as this was 20 years ago). All that was probably an urban myth, as BMW would have obviously taken the car if they had sued him, but the car never seemed to be finished.Any of the L.A. autoshiters have any more info on this? Would be interesting to know if anything ever happened to it.
