On Thursday.....

In Halfords yesterday and into the car park just as I was leaving swept a very tidy 1963 SInger Vogue... WITH A BIRD DRIVING.

Not even an hour later, on the Sutton road near Kingsmill (Mansfield) came a peachy Series 111 Hillman Minx..... WITH A BIRD DRIVING.

No pics as it all happened so fast, but what are the chances eh? EH!!??

Oh, and I saw an old couple cruising Sheffield centre today in a 1959 Cadillac Fleetwood. Not Rootes, just thought I'd mention it.

That is all.

I could add a tall-finned Sunbeam Alpine I saw on my way to work on Wednesday to the Rootes turnout list.

Driven by a - you guessed it - bird!

You bunch of misogynistic bastards, you should be ashamed of yourselves.

Amazing, you wouldn't have thought they could reach the pedals....

Section 2 of the latest Autoshite rule book states 'Pictures or it didnt happen'

There used to be a bird driving a wrecked old Herald around these parts, but never papped it so it didnt really happen.

I drove past an H-reg Arrow-series Singer Vogue in Rochford today, EssDeeWon will know the car as he's papped it before. Sadly it was parked up on a driveway so I don't know if the owner is male or female :P

You found it then...up the Ashingdon Road near the bus stop on the slight bend?

I really was ashamed here for a second, alright.

The weather was nice, you could see the hills.

Yep, still parked in the same position it was when you papped it. Shame really, it used to be owned by someone in the Southend + District club and was taken to a lot of events. It was a regular at Battlesbridge, but doesn't seem to be used much now.

It has moved at least once since I papped it in February. Probably about a month ago now it was parked in Roche Avenue in Rochford (Just off Stambridge Road near Rochford Post Office)
