At first glance you might think this is a 1955 Ford Thunderbird, but it is a prototype with side chrome similar to the 1955 Ford Fairlane.

hmmmmm - it's a tram. An electric powered self steering, self navigating vehicle in 1957. These are NuT trolley buses -

Well spotted - my eyesight. I'm just old enough to remember trolleybuses in use. The Walsall trolleybus system which ran until 1970.

Most of that view survives - but the usual pedestrianised. Trams went in 1959.

Central Tram Shed became the Queen's Hall concert venue until it too was demolished in 1989.
