After supplying the vans for the teaser, here is 'Funk to Funky', It's a 70s comedy cop show, Think UK Starsky and Hutch with the humour set somewhere between 'Airplane' original Batman and Naked Gun, so pretty silly really! :D There will be various tasty chod, with the 'star car' being a Capri. The facelift granny was not 100% right but is bloody lovely!!! Me Mk2 minibus sneaking into shot wasn't intentional!!

So would you watch it?

wouldn't be the first time something was watched for the cars. That was said to me a few times about Ashes to Ashes......

I like it! I've spotted an A plate series 2 MK2 Granada though.

edit.... you already mentioned the granny, my point is null and void.

I agree.  Also a furrow too well ploughed already.  Sozzer, but ah'm oot.

It is a comedy though, so all very tongue in cheek. I think it could work!

It's good to see a broad range of car makers represented. Ahhh, that's right, people in the 1970s only drove Fords didn't they? They were not any better than the competition but had a massive marketing budget.

I would prefer a prequel to Life on Mars following the Gene Genie's back story.

Sorry, but I didn't even make it to the end of the first "teaser"

This looks like sub BBC3 nonsense - is it made for Dave or something?  It's dire, plus you have to be pushing 40 to reference Starsky and Hutch these days (make that 50 if you watched it when it first aired) - not a great demographic for a comedy.

LoM and AtA had a unique 'hook' (the coma/time travel thing), with interesting characters played by bloody good actors and cool cars, this just makes do with cool cars.

Oh, dear...I'm afraid I've got nothing nice to say...but there's bound to be some good Transit content in there...somewhere...*

* Just CBA to look. Getting on with it and all that bit.

It's quite good but hard to sustain beyond a 'teaser'.

the writers are up to the second series and well into a film script.

I think it looks ok, but personally I'd say it's just a few OSF fans living out their fantasy which was  dreamed up after a few beers in the local pub, I bet it was fun to film and act but only those who were involved in it would enjoy it.

I spoke to a few people who DIDN'T like LOM/A2A because of the time travel/coma/dead aspect and would have preferred a simple period cop show so you cant please everybody!

Reading this again its a fair comment that theres only Fords in it. That wont be the case for the finished show.

I'd watch it twice if there were Allegros in it.

Most programs live and fall on their dialogue and as there is no dialogue in the trailer then there is nothing to judge it on as a watching experience.
