Last chance saloon!

Due to personal circumstances I have decided to weigh in the MG ZS unless anyone wants it. Replaced the inlet manifold gasket but the head gasket has gone now. Started to do the repair but found that the spark plugs on three and one had stripped the threads. I have no time, money or inclination to fix it really, as it wont be worth much fixed up anyway! Been offered £143 as scrap. Anyone want it?

Yours for £120 as I would rather see it used as parts or repaired than simply scrap it. Recent new discs all round, newish exhaust system, good alloys and tyres. Half leather interior in decent nick.

Anyone?

Motorhog are picking it up next week as scrap unless anyone wants to save it!

Is it not worth taking the interior out, eBaying that for some coin and then filling the interior with a hose to make the weight back up?

Probably, yes. Just can't be arsed really!

Too many cars and getting grief from Mrs Beard....

Just want to keep the Honda Prelude and MGF as my 'classic' cars and concentrate on those really.

Everyone* loves them yet nobody wants them.

I'm in the same boat. I have a Metro which is going to bleed me dry come the summer when it gets fixed, had it been pretty much anything else I would have felt bad but sent it over the bridge!

I can do those heads in my sleep now, but have neither the time nor room.

Time is more valuable than anything else these days.

I must stop faffing about with the Porsche during work hours too, it's my business and I tell people to bugger off when they whine about me working on it but I should get back to work on the work cars completely blame bobthebeard.  :P

Where is the car, any pictures for us to dribble over? What engine is in these ones?

it's 10 years since  they  were last sold new ...

OMGHGF in Kettle series engined  rovers have reduced  the precieved values ...

Indeed so...

Looks like the end is nigh for the old lass.

Shame really, as lots of new parts and no rust.

Gutted. It's a decent old thing, this car. But economics say no. Agree that it's worth trying to strip a few bits off, though.
