I smell VFM!

One of my favourite cars these were, not for the obvious though. I used to love "hoovering" these out for the gaffer of the car sales place I worked at whilst at Uni. There was always a few quid in a cavity under the seat runner which usually paid for a couple of pints down the local that night. :-P  If there was a hoard of pound coins they usually found their way under the carpet to the plastic cover which you lifted up to see the VIN number, top shitter tip for Granny Owners* to get some cash back!

Shitinell. That is a real hot cookie. I've just been paid aswell. Just aswell I'm as far away as I can be.

Think that made the ebay tat thread a few weeks ago. Like the 2.9 Ghia, went in one many years ago and it felt rather fast and smooth for a Ford. It was a silver D reg.

Are those the correct seats?

Posted

No a previos owner has fitted the leather complete with dodgy looking wiring

I will be breaking this up  from next week if no takers

I've owned several and can confirm they are for WINNERZ

That is sweet. Sadly I cannot afford it at this time.

Looks like a maga bargain, I thought people would sniffing alll over this.

Yes  Lincolnshire  , not far from Woodhall Spa

I had one exactly like it a few years back, same ijustpukedmyredwine-metallic, but still with non-slip seats.

I found it quite annoying, because it is so comfy, that all passengers around you fall asleep as soon as it is in motion.

Wish I had funds. Seems an utter shame to break it. :(

Have had a couple of these. The 2.9 version is bloody great.

Hope you don't have to break it Stix.  Looks far too nice, good luck.

I had one of these honeys in 1993, a 2.8i Scorpio in black with velours but with air. C921GWL was it's handle, 200'000 miles and all working. To this day I rate it as the most comfy car I've had even if the 2.8i Cologne* wasn't a fireball.

A mate had a D reg 1.8L Granada version in white, utter misery spec.

* splash it all over.

The best one i had was a 2.0 dohc   . quite nippy  comfy cloth seats and great on fuel  easy 40mpg !

but like an idiot i sold it as somhow i had ended up with x2 Kia Magentis's's  and thought i had better "thin the fleet out a bit"

The bloke that bought the Granada off me broke it up , one of the Kia's was rotten and i broke it up  and i got bored and sold the other one , there is a moral to this story but tbh  im not sure what it is

I had a twin cam 2 litre mk4 estate. brill car, as you say 40mpg but it rotted like anything! Plus the fuse box filled with water and caught fire.

My 2.0  was the pre soggy fusebox type

this was it
