That should be easy to spot, it isn't lowered.

I hope they had it on an agreed value policy, they have obviously gone to a lot of time and effort even if the interior is not to some people's (mine) taste. Whoever nicked it is presumably going to have to change all that because it is so recognisable so even if they get it back it will be start again time.

Rip the ID out, very cheap interior re fit (possibly pre-stolen) and flog on eBay for £££££££££

Loads of classics seem to be going walkies as of late, I know if I'd the cash for a classic, I'd be deffo tempted to pay for a tracker device fitted. I'm certain that a lot of thieves are lurking on owners club forums too, and they go 'shopping to order'.

I already have a tracker fitted to the Grandad, despite it's not even on the road yet.

I blatantly refuse to fit one to the haunted Rover of doom, because I'd enjoy it giving its thief a slow, painful, and horrible death too much.

It's probably gone to be broken up for parts, I think there's too much work involved making it look unrecognisable and then trying to flog it whole.

Together with proper Mini's and older Landie's, these make the top 3 of most nicked classic. Sad. I hope they get the thieving bastards.

I think these get stripped for parts and the shell gets punted on as a rust free import, sans ID.

 

Anybody who owns one of these must be mental not to have a tracker.
