My son has just done this to mind! It has smashed the sump and seized the engine. He is only unhurt because it is illegal to beat your children nowdays!

Bummer re yer Bimmer!

I remember those headlamp wipers.  The ones on mine were always jamming  (that was 1989, and the shed was only 3 years old at the time).  They make a spooky Batman effect when you use them on a dark road.

Ooh I nearly had this last time round! How's it running these days any issues etc?

I changed the idle control valve this week (for a part supplied by Rob when I bought it) and it's going great- yer actual 'joy of six'!

121k on the clock, engine and transmission (auto) all good the only noise is from exhaust tailpipe touching the body occasionally - a little bit of a 'shhhh' noise from the diff . Rusty sunroof, roof is fine though, arches all good, a few scabs on the door bottoms, and one bit of rust in the scuttle area, and a couple of deep scratches on the bonnet. And dashboard has cracks in it.

The oil service light cannot be extinguished (I've tried with a service tool).

It is a good clean car, and drives beautifully.

Well I'll do a thread in due course but I unexpectedly have found myself making an offer on some J-tin (Strict one in-one out policy in operation here).

I saw a very nifty looking red 4 door 325i on an H plate at the pezzer station today.   650 does seem mega cheap for one of these.

Well, as I bought the car from RobT on this very forum for £650, I struggled with the idea of punting it back on here for a higher amount.

Got any more pics? I had some from rob last time round but didn't save them. Room on drive and logistics of Devon are against me but I do like this car!
