That's the Transit I've been perving over, STUNO! Have seen it a few times and asked some locals about it; apparently it's owned by an ex carpenter. I want it! Even got my initials in the plate.

Got any space for a Camira in the garage? Yours gratis if you're willing to get the rust repaired in the floor.....

3/4 of an hour to post the last two.. jeez....

Both of these have 5.7? litre Corvette engines. F or some reason I find the idea of an ordinary blue family sedan with that motor interesting .

Mitsubishi 380 ..their least successful model, it didn't last long

The Horse and Jockey, in 1050 my father and some mates could not stand a town with nowhere to gather. This building was the result. Then the classiest  (read only) pub and accommodation here at the time.

We didn't get the Lantis in the UK, but they're a common sight where I 'winter' in Thailand.

There's no Ford relative, but within the wheelbase they're similar to the Astina shape 323:

The hatchback looks rather more dinky than the saloon on the road because of its stumpy rump. The first Lantis I saw was a well spec'd example, I thought it came from the class above.

I hope yours can be sorted without too much bother.

Then the heavens opened, 2 hours of lightning and even thunder. Not enough to do any real good though.

Mini Mazda update. The compressions have been checked, all are good and holding well. But the cylinders are full of oil, so we are just going to do valve guide seals and put it back together, HOPEFULLY.

I'm back. A week or so shifting house and waiting for phone/internet. I have moved from Hobbiton,  about 50 km south to the town of Tokoroa (Tow Kow Rower). A town of about 13,000 established in about 1950 to provide accommodation for the employees of a papermill constructed nearby. It is now well established, but is lacking two of the things that no UK small town could survive without. Well actually four, all related. Narrow streets, parking meters and their associated wardens and no lollipop men, the school crossings are patrolled by parents and well trained children. I went to the centre yesterday to buy a washing machine, parked at the door of shop 1 and got a good price with lots of added expenses, left there and parked at the door of shop 2  and paid a little more with no extra charges and $50 of free fuel thrown in ! Did I mention earlier the garaging for 3 cars !---- ONWARDS.---

And passed this on the highway while moving. Brand new truck, but too quiet and comfortable so the driver fell asleep.

I know a few Autoshiters who'd love that much space to fill with hopeless projects and ornamental wrecks.

Are rents reasonable over there?
