Beyond my budget. Hateful silver. I've sort-of agreed a deal on a Citroen XM. It's down in Portsmouth, but the chap is due to drive to mid-Wales with a recovery truck "at some point soon." So no epic collection capers, but stops a £300 car becoming a vastly more expensive one by the time I've collected it.

 

It's a 2-litre, non-turbo, petrol, automatic. Perfect! No money has changed hands yet, and I've no idea when this bloke is going to actually come to Wales, so it's all a bit vague. That's cool, as my money situation is similar.

I have a horrible feeling that XM estate is being sold by the chap who diddled me with the CX. About as trustworthy as David Cameron. Still fuming about his V5 antics.
