Where I grew up, there were some proper shite mobile libraries- Coachbuilt Ford A series with the nice sounding but shit york 6 pot.

I remember Leeds council having a suitably shite mobile library made by Optare, they used the GRP front of an Olympian bus, and the sides were made from that shite corrugated stuff they made luton van bodies out of in the 70s. Livery was a red fromt with grey sides, it was misery. I think that was on a Cargo chassis

It was a tough job driving one of those, and only those with at least two convictions for gross indecency were eligible to apply.

What is needed is a good selection of 80's skin flicks on VHS - these can be mixed in with a selection of "GREAT BRITISH POLICE CARS OF THE 50's" type videos you find in the clearance bins at poundland and in various other emporiums along the golden mile.
