Regret selling these (thought I'd be able to replace them fairly easily) :-

This one is now in Australia.  I only had it for a summer.

Which one? Green rhd or white lhd/

I'd be sorely tempted to buy the white one back if you ever sell it, funds allowing. I now realise there's an unsightly Bluebird shaped gap between my 312 and 510!

Definatelt think you should have hung on to the beige 320. A thing of great lovelyness that. I don't recall seeing a pic of the blue one before.

Tayne -here you go:-

Thanks.

From the taillights I was expecting a much smaller car.

Hi Ed.

Might sell. I haven't used it in months, hardly done anything with it, sadly. Too reliable I guess.  I can hardly drive a manual. I'll give it some thought.

I made such a ludicrous profit selling the beige 320, that I imported 2 more, the blue one & junker. Both went straight to the same buyer, in Belgium. To my knowledge he has a full set & several spares now.....

I would LOVE a neighbour like you, mr Bickle. That's pretty much what my first house looked like, it had off road parking for about 7 cars so naturally I filled it up. (not even all mine, if any family/mates needed a temporary off road parking space they'd dump it at mine)

It became something of a local landmark, either "the house with all the weird and wonderful old cars" or "the place that looks like a scrapyard".

everyone has an interest of some kind, it just happens that ours is slightly more visible to others.

I'd love your 117, Nige - or even just a chance to sit in it. I may have mentioned this a few time.

You don't half attract some nutters, mate.

Is there any way admin can find an ip address to find this geezer photographing cars and houses? Abuse on a forum yes,not saying i agree with it but it happens. To be honest though the photos would be too close for comfort for my liking.

I think Mr Before Seven should be able to find some details on the person, if required.

Not saying I agree with his comments, but how is the photos any different than what we might do for a "spottage" thread?

If I spied Mr B's pile I  think i would have taken a few choice snaps with my phone - thinking "woah"! Mega chod collection :)

Personally i'd drop it, it's not like he was caught getting it on with the tail pipe of the Regata or something.

If he was on Mr. B's property if would be a different matter off cause, I suspect he's just friends with a neighbour who doesn't like the cars (Not everybody likes old cars) and felt like he needed to stand up for him.

Is your house a secret bunker in a hidden forest?  People can see cars and houses by walking about in streets and stuff.  The cat can look at the Queen, and at her gaff, and at her motor.   Next we will have people blanking out number plates and other such PH nonsense.

Jon, If you're ever south, you're welcome to sit in it. Very very red (velour), natch.

As to the pics -so be it.   I'm kinda advertising, so I guess its my fault.

Nutters attract nutters, like moths to a flame.

Well, it's kind of the opposite! The photos in a spottage thread are there to admire the cars, the photos posted by this chap are intended to demonstrate that they look bad, or shouldn't be there, or something. Same with the accompanying text.

However, the chap says he won't be posting any more so hopefully that's the end of the matter, and we won't need to discuss it further.

It would appear that a criminal offence has been committed, so I wouldn't expect Impmadman to step out from behind the mask.

Calm down, lovely people!  There was no crime.  Taking photies of stuff is perfectly legal, and doesn't amount to stalking.   If anyone wants a dull blah lecture on stalking and such, ask me, but it would be well dull; and anyway I'm too busy stalking Junkman from that privet hedge near the shed.   Four days I've been here and he hasn't even brought me out a cup of Bovril.

Ring the bleedin door bell and you'll be taken down to the dungeon and treated to a Scotch, man!

lets take the heat out of this -I'm not as upset as some here.

The car that started this, the YELLOW S2000 is now bare bottomed. panel beaten straight with a re-aligned yellow bootlid (not yet perfect, I think the hinges need fettling).

I've ordered up a n/s rear light & blue bumper (doah -no yellow!!) from Breaker types, and expect Junior to fit said items later this. New screen going in Friday, personal paltes from her old Saab & Roberts your mothers  brother!

Massive kudos to Nigel, by the way, for being such a Mensch about the whole thing.    Also, fine kwalidee motors, Mr Bickle.

Sorry if folks misinterpreted what i said. I understand its no different from us snapping cars out and about but it just seems to me someone has a bee in their bonnet about Nigel. And posting pics of his vehicles and saying folk had enough of cars out on street. Be all and end all is if it doesn't bother Nigel then fine but if things took a more sinister approach i am sure we would all stand up for him

I live on a street just outside Ripley in Derbyshire. A shonky ford fiesta on the street and a cub down side of house. I don't mind folk taking pics but it don't appeal when it seems to be they are having a pop at someone and it seemed to me they was trying to prove a point!
