Squire_Dawson Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 I'd hazard a guess at £1. michael1703, Banger Kenny, brickwall and 3 others 6
wuvvum Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 Aye, I managed to pick up a can of paint for the Carina from Poundland in Norwich. Feck knows where they all came from, but they still had £4.45 price stickers on the cans, so presumably bankrupt stock from some motor factor chain?
Station Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 I saw these today, but they were in a big basket and CBA perusing as it was by the checkout.

Des Posted January 18, 2014 Author Posted January 18, 2014 If that is hycote then get it bought.Best rattle cans ever. Yes Hycote, the good stuff, the few larger cans were the Holts stuff, Poundland indeed, the Borehamwood branch whose random selection included BL champagne beige, sandglow, a few Ford contenders and cream of Daewoo. I should check the receipt but iirc they were a pound each.Has anyone got a Polo for the Harlequinisation?
Angrydicky Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 I could really do with some more Champagne Beige! Off down to the Canterbury branch now to see of they've got any.
wackywacerwill Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 1.1 miles away from me, in there like swim wear. http://www.poundland.co.uk/store-finder/
worldofceri Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 Got any non-metallic light blue? Doesn't matter what shade, my car's already fifty shades of blue. eddyramrod, fordperv and wackywacerwill 3
wackywacerwill Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 19 pound down. I have screen wash (ready mixed), 3 cans of generic white which will be just the job for patching up the van, a hycote green and a holts green just because they were nice shades and a pound a piece. Also in that 19 sovs was £12 worth of 8 led bike lights for the kids at work and enough batteries to keep them going for a year or two. fordperv and brickwall 2

wackywacerwill Posted January 18, 2014 Posted January 18, 2014 They didn't. Useless. They didn't have any of those cool Ruski models either.I checked Woolwich for you too, no champers beige there either.

Vince70 Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 Seems you lot have more variety to my local poundland at Bexhill as all we have is satin black. .. And to make matters worse I put a few nice deep scratches on the colour coded door side trim today. Then I only arrive back home later and have done the same thing again only this time to the corner of the bumper..I've never hit anything before and now I've done it twice in the same spot against my garage wall in one day. I know it's really a tight squeeze to get the car in and out but I've never touched the wall before so I believe someone's moved my garage over by an inch during the night lol.. Hopefully I will get a few of them out with a bit of 2000 wet and dry and a bar of soap and water and the trusty eBay scratch pen. Either that or I'm going to have to get a smaller car so if anyone wants a nice low mileage A4 with 65000 on the clock with mot till Sept and tax till March and a mint interior and a rust free body with a few scratches it's yours for £350 Ono. And if it doesn't sell I will give it 4 days then I have no option but to burn it in the back garden.
Junkman Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 Thank fuck it's only paint, I thought it might have been a shit load of chod, in miniature, in beige, that must be purchased asap The paint must be purchased asap, since it can be used to respray said shit load of chod in miniature in proper beige.
Shep Shepherd Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 I wasn't going to go into town today, but now I have an excuse to do so. It would be nice to find a can or two of Volvo Signal Red, but that's wishful thinking. EDIT (1415): Alas, the Southend-on-Sea branch of Poundland mainly has obscure metallic colours for long-scrapped Fords and Vauxhalls. Levante Grey, Baliol Blue and Bright Copper, anyone?
derskine Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 If that is hycote then get it bought.Best rattle cans ever. Got to agree hycote are the tits
Peter Patina Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 Beige is the average colour of the universe. PHAKT! So I ask... will death be beige? Like maybe overdosing on Bailey's, only being more out of it.
