Sam Glover Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 It's time for another bout of colonic irrigation. All near Bristol... Leyland Princess 2 HL – £300 Dry stored since 1997. Solid, but a little bubbly round the edges. Marvellous interior. 48k miles. Ran and drove a couple of years ago. Nice day for a white wedging. Hyundai Pony Pick-up – £750 Only off the road for a year-and-a-bit for no good reason. 52k miles. Drives nicely. Rotten rear wheel arches, dented tailgate and blowing exhaust. Trabant Kubelwagen – £1000 Totally stripped but complete. Shell decent. Trabant 601 saloon with a good engine included as an organ donor. eddyramrod, Junkman, Grundig and 4 others 7
Pillock Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 It's days like this that if I had empty storage for a car anywhere, I would no longer have empty storage. It's the Princess that's winking at me. I say winking, it's offered me a handjob and a bottle of vodka and is dragging me back to it's place. Cavcraft, eddyramrod and saucedoctor 3
Ratdat Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Sam, very interested in the Pony. I need to just check with my insurance tomorrow morning to see if I can add it to my policy (multi classic car with FJ) as they wouldn't let me add a van before. Can you PM me your number? Cheers,Ed
TagoraSX Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 What's the story with the Ro80 next to the wedge, It's looking like I may need a parts car.
vulgalour Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 I'll pass wedge details on to the club, at £300 it's a bit of a bargain. Of course I want to take it on myself, I don't think anybody really needs to ask that. eddyramrod 1
theorganist Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Hmm, would be very interested in the Princess.
Taff Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 i'm concerned that the princess is affordable and near to me. Thats a worrying combo. my new gaff has an empty garage as well. eddyramrod 1
Bobthebeard Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Of course I want to take it on myself, I don't think anybody really needs to ask that.Leave it! Down boy! LEAVE!
beko1987 Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Phew, was about to justify selling the xm for a princess to Amy! If I didn't have Eva I'd be all over the pickup too
ruffgeezer Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 I'm lucky I have no room in the garage, and all my money is invested* in high quality* vauxhall 4x4, otherwise I might be tempted to give home to the kubelwagen, just look at it sitting there, the dirty little bitch!
paulsrje Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 if the pony falls through let me know. Thanks
Ratdat Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 No chance of that I'm afraid as it's currenty sitting in my workshop awaiting the attention of my welder! loserone 1
