Had a bit of a fiddle with the ADO16 designs, I wanted to change some minor details.  I've also added an Austin America variant.  I'm in the process of uploading these now, it's going to take a little while.

Austin America

When I have time I'll tackle the Riley, Wolseley and MG trim/paint variants to complete the UK set.  Later, I'll do the Nomad and Apache to complete the Australian set.  I'm not entirely certain since I need to do more research, but I think there's a second trim finish for the MG variant that America got and the UK didn't.

I've had quite a few sticker sales just recently.  Did you grab the big ones or the small ones?  I've been told the big ones look quite good but no reports on the small ones yet.

Small ones, because I'm tight!

Did they come as lots of individual cars or just as a single sticker block?  The smallest size is the only one that seems to make them all a solid block, the other sizes there's enough space for them to be separate.

Well the important thing is that you're happy with them.  Sorry for all the questions, I don't get samples you see and with there being so many different options I can't really afford to buy one of everything so it's a case of waiting to see what people tell me.  Other artists have been quite happy with Redbubble quality and the few items I have bought or had people give me feedback on - like yourself - have met with approval.  It's reassuring to know.  blue Hydrasag is the most popular design of the Hydrasag range, honestly I made it for fun and have been pleasantly surprised that I've sold some of those, makes me happy.

Speaking of the Hydrasag design, the first round of completed Princess designs are available in the shop here: https://www.redbubble.com/people/angylroper/collections/800397-princess?asc=u

It's only a small range at the moment, I'll be expanding it with time.  If there's a particular trim and colour combo you want please do get in touch, for a modest fee (from £5, depending on how much needs to be changed) I can personalise any of the existing designs and make them available to print.

I've made some tweaks to most of the designs, added a few extras and even built a Princess SP from the info on the club website.  I'm still working on the Ambassador designs and Mk1 Princess details.  These are done between my paid commission work so my time can be rather limited, which is why it's taking a while.  Personalised versions would be added to my commission queue and be completed much faster.

I've also been giving consideration to a Dollywobbler inspired Invacar design.  I just need to complete a few items on the queue first, they're stacking up!

I've been nibbling away at these since the last post.  I've still got the three door, coupé and sports packs to do.  For now I've got several tourer, saloon, hatch and CABRIO options for you.  They should be live sometime between Monday and Wednesday of the coming week, I'll be sure to post a link once they are.

DON'T FORGET!  If you want a custom version adding to the print shop I can do that, prices from £5 depending on how much work is involved to make exactly what you're after.

Two questions, Angyl:

1: when ordering stickers, is that five stickers of the chosen size, one of each design, or just one; and if the latter, is there a way to specify a colour preference, or is it luck of the draw?

2: do you have any plans to produce a fridge magnet range?

Thanks

1 - I'm going to assume that's the multicolour batch stickers.  These are on a sheet as individual stickers and the sheet is the size listed with each sticker being a fraction of that size.  What you get is what you see, when it comes to colours.  I'd like to have an option for custom sticker sheet composition but that's not available through RedBubble yet.  Check the preview too, if it looks like a single block of stickers as some of the smallest sizes do, that's what you'll get.

2 - I had no plans to, you're the first to ask.  Redbubble don't offer these, but I expect they might in the future, they're always adding new items.  I think you can get fridge magnet blanks cheaply online that allow you to put any print in them, that could be an option.

If there's a particular colour/model combination you'd like for a sticker sheet I can make a custom set up for you, a modest fee would apply for the work involved to do so, depending on how much you wanted adding and changing.

Thanks Angyl

1: yes that's the sticker type i meant.

2: good suggestion!

A custom order is not necessary as they're for a 'box of memories' Christmas present to a sister in law who may have mixed feelings about the Princess in question. (When it performed its final ftp for her many years ago, it was left unlocked, on the road in a fairly rough area, for several months before it disappeared. She has a history of despatching cars. I THINK she has mostly fond memories of that one...)

In honour of it's popularity in my shop, I've released two new options for the Citroen DS.  The first is a new multicolour tile which is better suited to patterned prints and serves as a neat sticker pack.  You can find that here: https://www.redbubble.com/people/angylroper/works/29307151-citroen-ds-multicolour-2?asc=u&c=558739-citroen

The second is in celebration of its Frenchness with a tri-colour combination which I'm amazed I didn't think of when I first released the design.  You can find that here: https://www.redbubble.com/people/angylroper/works/29307233-citroen-ds-tricolore?asc=u&c=558739-citroen

There's also loads of other stuff in the shop so if you've not finished/started your festive shopping you could well find the answers to all your needs in there.  I bet all your relatives want things like tee-shirts with wonky Princesses on, I mean really, who wouldn't?

Cor, I've been a busy boy today!  Got another new design to go.  I wanted to release something new and more mainstream-y in time for the festive buying period and was stuck for an idea for ages until I found that thread that taught me how to make adorabley proportioned cars.  I have some favourites I want to do more of these with, but to kick things off I played it safe with a Mustang which is available in six colours and a pattern/sticker pack version featuring all six colours together.

The blue one with redline tyres is my favourite.

You can get those and lots more besides over on the Redbubble shop which I'm going to be a bore and link to yet again: https://www.redbubble.com/people/angylroper

Also, a big huge thank you to folks that have been making use of the Redbubble shop and giving me feedback on those.  It's helped me feel much more confident about the path I'm taking with the car artwork lately and to figure out the route between fun stuff for me to make and stuff people actually want to pay for.  Please do spread the word about my work, it really, really helps and I've enjoyed the diversity of commission work I've had this year because of people doing just that.  For all the rubbish 2017 has thrown at all of us, it's been my best year when it comes to financial reward and compliments on the work I've put in and I'm pretty sure a lot of this is thanks in part to the positivity folks have been throwing my way and spreading to other people.

2017 is over, thank goodness!  I've been going through my sales stats today to find out who was top dog in the print shop.  I do remember getting a lot of last minute orders for E-Types printed on mugs as the Christmas Day deadline got ever closer so I was hardly surprised to find out the top seller was....

Second place went, surprisingly, to the Citroen DS in blue.

On checking the NEW releases for 2017, top of the pile was the Lamborghini Countach multicolour pattern.  Only just mind you.

I couldn't do a top 3 because there was a big old pile up for second place involving some Princesses, some ADO16s and even a couple of a Ford Thunderbirds.

Big thanks to everyone that ordered stuff, spread the word or just visited the shop to get those clicks in (it probably helps bump me up the visibility ratings or something).  Here's to 2018 being pretty brilliant too, with more weird old cars rubbing shoulders with the supercars in my Top Sales next January.

During 2018 I plan to release one new design every month as a minimum.  For January that ended up being the Austin FX4 in late model Fairway guise.  Available in the three colours I remember seeing them in the most and with a big TAXI suggestive of graffiti'd city walls as a backdrop.

It's available in black, silver, and maroon

Tidied up an older design today for a bit of variety in the shop, this time a 1960 Cadillac Eldorado mild custom.  Looks pretty good on a black tee-shirt.  Originally done in inks on textured paper so has a different look to the very clean digital stuff.

More British Leyland products for you to admire here.  A custom order of the original design means I released the standard prints a little earlier this year than planned.  You can get your Ambassador in one of four flavours.

It's a good idea to push outside of whatever your comfort zone is with artwork.  For me that means having fun and being sloppy with details since it's the tidy, accurate stuff I produce that seems most popular and my comfort zone is making what my customer base seems to most want.  Nobody has ever asked for something like... Chunderbird.  I suspect this would look good on a black tee-shirt so it might end up in the shop.

This month I bring you Dorf Crapis.  Available as a multi-colour tile if you can't make up your mind, or four colour options if you can: https://www.redbubble.com/people/angylroper?asc=u Personally rather taken with the Peppermint, especially on a yellow tee-shirt, but then the only taste I have is in my mouth so don't listen to me.

I've come across your stuff on Redbubble but never bought any. That's no insult as I rarely buy new stuff.

Really good work.
