Whilst installing some cables I discovered a slice of the past, 1987 to be exact! That'll be when my central heating was installed as this bit of paper was used to bung up a hole behind some pipes prior to filling. There was another page but it was falling to dust as I was trying to remove it. I took some quick photos before the paper realised it was 2019 and vaporised itself... Enjoy! (Oh, and I haven't checked the reg plates yet and thought I'd leave that excitement* to the quickest of you lot!)

About 20 years ago whilst rewiring a house I found a scrunched up bit of 1980 newspaper reporting the death of John Bonham. Owner of the house was a massive Led Zep fan and had loads of Zep memorabilia, and he framed the page (no pun intended).  Old page was all yellowed and crinkly and stank of mouse piss. (Again, no pun intended).

The Mexico pic was taken in 1974 when Ford engineer and racing driver Allan Wilkinson was 29.

It's really him !!!   37 years later.  Hope he's doing well.
