You can get those anti-static strips from the local scummy discount shop, think it's "Super Pound Store". The big one on Kirkgate, if anyone's local.

Sticking a Mk1 grille on a Mk2 just makes it look like every other Cooper look-a-like in the world. I don't care if it's a 33,000km from new car (is that the engine or the new shell, anyway?), or a 'genuine' Cooper S, it looks like an idiot built it to impress his girlfriend in 1982.
