Why hasn't one of you posted a pic of the lass's arse yet? I'd google it but I don't know what she's called.

No, I'm...gee, what's it called again?

Errr...

Ehm..

Ah: Heterosexual.

Yep, that's it.

I find men with bare arms and legs revolting.

Thank you. This is what I've been saying for years. I'm called a wimp if I watch touring cars, but watching a group of sweaty, buff, young men in shorts run around is hetro is it?

For the record I'm not anti-gay. But I find bare legs and arms on men, as you say, revolting.

Im not gay, or anti-gay. But my aunty is gay. Much to the disapointment of my uncle, who is now very anti-aunty-gay.

How do I claim my five pounds?

Anti-aunty-gay. Try saying that after a few!

But does she like football?

I'll enquire and report back.

The rock solid theory that only gay people like football is starting to show cracks.

I also vaguely recall Good Car Bad Car(?) with Dom Littlewood and some guy who used to be on Top Gear.

Jason Barlow?

Personally I love to read what car magazine and read about all the new wank. I often sit down with a beer and read it. But I call myself "Alan Partridge" on here for a reason.

"Yeah, can I just read you something from Top Gear magazine? No, it’s alright, I’ve got it here, I’ve got it here. [Opens the magazine on the bed and reads] 'With a mere ninety break-horse-power available, progress is too leisurely to be called fast, but on the motorway in fifth gear the Megane’s slow pace really becomes a pain. Uphill runs become power-sappingly mundane, while overtaking National Express coaches can become a long, drawn-out affair.' Not my words, Carol, the words of Top Gear magazine. "

Popped into my head when I read your post.

I've just watched I.W.T.C. I had to after all the talk. For the love of god!! Mini and porker were nice. disastra, mg, and polo were laughable. No discount on price..... At all...... Wtf!! Production wasn't too bad, at least the film crew have some sort of an idea of what they are at.

Hang on a minute... The bloke who wanted the car for a grand, didn't get the Astra. He called the seller after the show and it was sold to someone else!! The guy who had 15k bought a bay window camper... Nice choice of ride but if your in that kind of market place then why go on the show, only to get to the finish line and bottle out with... I have to ask the wife! Not informative by any stretch of the imagination, and I don't think it'll survive much longer.

Further rant!! The show with V.B.H. and that fella "wrecks to riches" who bought cat c or d wright off cars and repaired them for prospective clients was another effing joke. The body shop guys were very good, but there was no way in hell they were fixing those cars for the prices that was being quoted on the show. Labour charges were tiny! Those motors were all costing more in the end than a straight car in my opinion.

Bring back overhaulin, American hot rod (coddington r.i.p) as there are tons of custom and speed shops in the states. American chopper and the chopper build off shows etc. They were all about the build, and we know they were all 'no expense spared builds', but entertaining none the less. Even if we can see the re-runs for goodness sake!! Still has to be better than this I.W.T.C. shite!

She does not like football.

Do you think her orange peel can be helped with a wet sand and a buff?!
Posted

Nah, no American shows, please. They started the whole thing with exposing bare arms.

Also, telly in general is stupid enough when non-Yanks make it.

Fast and Loud and Wheeler Dealers are the only car related shows that are watchable at the moment IMO.

And The Caravan Show obv.

American Hot Rod was a joke.

I gave up a after three episodes as they never finished a car because Boyd spent all his time shouting at his staff or getting the bald bloke to shout at his staff who then walked out.

I agree that there was a lot of production tv bollox, but some of the builds were awesome.

Fast and loud is very good, but the main character is a hood, a complete con artist! I love it. Chasing classic cars is watchable, but he is another crook!

Wheeler dealers is another joke. None of the cars in shows of late have been built for the figures quoted... None. Go back to when Edd was using rattle cans to bluff up dodgy repairs on cheap ass cars! That was believable and achievable for the average person.

Richard Rawlings a crook?

He makes a loss on nearly everything!

I dont think hes ever made money at an auction.

Hes had a few lucky sales to clueless fuckwits (that Bronco that he sold to a tit-magnate springs to mind) but for the most part hes scraping by.

Anyone remember that Lincoln Continental he paid through the arse for because the old woman looked sad? evan though she lied about almost every aspect of the car.

He'll never be a millionaire*, but hes a good laugh.

Edited as it seems hes already worth 8 million dollar.

Just seen it on catch up tv. What a load of shit and the bloke is a complete bell end, That clearly knows very little about older cars. Trying to talk the lad into buying a £500 chav Astra for a grand by telling him shit like the Ecotec engine is the best engine. Bull shit when I was in the trade they were know as the Ecotec nightmare engine. The first 5mins were the worse with that bell end saying how much he knows about cars because he works for some shit new car mag. Got to be the worse car programme ever.

TBH its not worth getting upset about, its not aimed at us.

It's not aimed at us, because we are the wise men, the tribal elders of motoring consumers.

They are known as Eco-wreck in the trade over here lol.

Fast & Loud is the only show I really enjoy now other than Car SOS from a few months ago. As mentioned above, Wheeler Dealers is a shadow of it's former self and the cars are pretty much built to order now.

Posted

I like strippers: cars for cash.  I really shouldn't like it the whole idea is a bit shit but they make it quite funny. It's obviously all setup but I find it entertaining (like when they went to France to buy a car and in negotiated in Spanish).

F n L is actually good to watch therefore enjoyable. RR is actually entertaining.  WD is getting uber tedious and they are buying stuff beyond the grasp of most people. If I miss it on the day I don't go searching for it. They lost the plot after S.3 IMHO. I want that car......... well I don't and I won't be watching again. Utter shite even if Rebecca does have a nice bum.
