Buy my Ford Milf.

Ok, it's a Cougar.

I figure this is pretty Autoshitey material, although it actually drives rather well. 2.5 V6 facelift X pack job, so leather, aircon, cd changer, heated seats, heated windscreen. 130k on the clock, full stamped up book to 122k. Aircon etc all works as it should. MOT until January. No tax.

It's not immaculate, and it needed a spot of welding doing to the o/s sill which has been done now - rot cut out, new metal let in. Just needs a light skim of filler and a bit of paint. Easy job, which I'll do if the rain ever goes off.

£700 or thereabouts. Cheap enough, and it does 33ish mpg on a run, 27ish around town.

I actually quite like it.

Interested? Either PM me or call me on 07731 744088.

NIce these. Incidentally theres someone on the Outlook contact list at my work called 'Wallace Milfs'.

I've had a couple of fully loaded low mileage mint 2.5s manuals in the past and their great motors for some reason their the only ford out there from that generation that seems to be well built and rust proof .

I do regret getting rid of my last one as it took me over a year to find one with only 40000 on the clock and in immaculate condition with the heated screen.

You get so much car for your money with the Cougar I sold my last one 4 years ago and it had only done 46000 with a full ford history I had trouble getting £1000 for it.

I found on the run you can achieve 35mpg out it the 2.5 and the duratec is a lovely engine I always look at them as a poor mans Aston as the engine in the Aston is basically two 3.0 duratec welded together.

I really like these, a genuinely good looking car and probably the only "modern" Ford I'd quite fancy owning.

I like MILFs as well.

I have always liked these. Cant remember the last time i saw one. Despite looking a little 'sporty' they seem to have avoided the chav thing (at least where i am) . Possibly because they were not common enough.

Tis a lovely engine, I'd forgotten it was half an Aston!

I could do with selling all my cars; this, the Focus, and the Happy Death Express.

Thought I'd offer the Cougar here first. The Happy Death Express isn't particularly AS material.

I can understand why these didn't get the CHAV! treatment. They're not proper sports cars, they're ok handling cruisers.

It drives nicely, it's quiet - the V6 is nigh on silent in it, and it wafts along happily. Like a slightly less porky Mondeo V6 in coupé form - which is what is is.

If the Focus sells, I'll happily blart about in this for a while.

P.S. Mike, there's no Mazda in these ;) although the Mazda Tribute did use the Duratec V6.

Yeah they have avoided the chav thing same as its sister car the Puma (loved by girls).  For some reason both the Puma and Cougar seem to be over looked by Ford fans yet loved by people who don't normally like Fords.

However expect blue oval scene tax to kick in on both in 2028.

I had a Cougar for a couple of years. Loved it. Although I did gather rather a lot of points on my licence during my ownership.

Stylish , nice driving motors with cheap Mondeo parts when needed. Decent package IMO. Never really understood why they weren't very successful for Ford.

I only sold mine as the power steering pump went, I needed transport and was skint due to the crap gig I was in at the time so couldn't afford to sort it - else I'd probably still have it now.

I have one Pete - it was there at Eddy's South Lakes meet in April.

It is ACE and I never intend to sell it.*

*Plans change though. Being skinted may necessitate a Cougar based injection of funds at some point.

Again, one of those cars I hated when new (WTF is going on with those stupid rear lights?) but they've aged well I reckon and seem to offer a lot for the money. I came very close to buying one earlier in the year.

These are going to be MEGA RARE soon i reckon, the sort of thing that will become a holy grail on here
