Is there any difference (apart from the badge) between a Commer Imp and the Imp-based Hillman Husky? A mate of mine has at least one Husky...

Commers were originally vans so had no side windows , no headlining and no passengers seat unless you ordered one and a rubber mat for a carpet .

Huskys came with opening side windows and a headlining and carpet and a rear seat factory fitted ,

its the same basic shell though

This thread makes me feel like I drive a common, mainstream car.  I'm not sure how I feel about that.

Those ponys are not totally extinct as I have one:

Hang on, how come we haven't been introduced to this one?  Or did I miss the show?  Looks very tidy, must be a rare beast now.

Volkswagen Santana

Not exactly extinct though, was continued in other countries for years; China's roads contained practically nothing else and until January 2013 you could still buy a brand new Santana Vista.

Nissan Cherry Europe - the Alfa Romeo Arna's less successful brother.

Apparently only 4 left in 2011 according to the thread on retro-rides this image is from.

With regard to the Lonsdale HML say the last one died in 2007, however they have a model listed as 'Lonsdale Missing' http://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/vehicle/lonsdale_missing either an ironic special edition or the DVLA are as keen as us to trace one.

How about the Mazda 818 HML say 2 taxed 2 sorn so that makes er 4, ok not extinct but nearly there.  I love the tail lights on these it just makes the car:

Can't be more than a handful of Mazda 1000 left either.  I was aware of 3 in the UK (one in Norn Irn) last year.

early Kia Pride, and H reg examples left?

Oh yes. My mum's daily drive, and star of Kia press releases.

kia-20-years_562x0.jpg

The only known survivor of the original H-reg press demo fleet, and therefore the oldest Kia in Europe.

It does, however, require one of these...

Hen's dentures, for sure - but someone might have one, or know what else had these hubcaps. They were UK-sourced, by a firm called Triple H, based in Kent. Only fitted to the H-reg cars, but presumably an off-the-shelf design. Triple H no longer exists. Anyone got any clues?

Talking of Kia Prides, I bet those Mazda 121s are pretty scarce.
Basically a Pride with a big sunroof and Mazda badges.
