ALMOST! Extinct Cars

My Lancer (like the one in my avatar) must be last of the few. (I've owned 3, one was broken for spares) the other I know about and might be up for sale again but other than that they have just disappeared.

Only seen one pre face lift version in modern times and that was banger raced :-(

The diesel and estate must be no more by now ??

There's one knackered early Lancer around here but it's always moving so can never get a picture. It's bright metallic green.

Don't ever recall Shitsubishi doing a green one (I used to work for Shitsubishi hence my fascination with the marque) So yes please get a picture as i'm intrigued.

According to OMGhowfewleft there are three (!) Peugeot 405 GTX autos left. Add 2.0 engine and estate and mine might be the only one? I still couldn't get rid of it even if I paid someone to take it away.

But considering this, why is everybody subscribing to that totally unjustified hype that Le Manses could be remotely rare?

It's here in CZ, so it probably came from Germany or something.

1 left! its trim XL. this one is gone though.

FFS you just made me shit myself with that photo as I REALLY want a Malaga. I think the one that is on HML died of an engine fire and was sold on and has gone AWOL. Cant find the photos.

Can we confirm that Lonsdale is an extinct car in the UK?

I think you will find that even in mainstream cars that have a decent club followings in the UK there'll be extinct model varients. For example, I doubt there's any Cortina Mk5 1.6 LS Estates left in the world but plenty of other models.

Yeah but its a UK spec car that is the dream. I am hoping one will pop up in a council garage at some point. Hopefully a 1.5 System Porsche GLX with the digital clock which is what I wanted when I was a kid.

As it happens, I learned to drive in a Malaga 1.2, back when they were new. Don't remember much about it, apart from it being really easy to stall

There used to be a blue Malaga round here, complete with System Porsche decals. It was occasionally parked on the same street that a grey Sao Penza lived on. This would have been 15 years ago, though and as such this post is completely useless.

This is actually tricky!
Yeah I think the Lonsdale is the best guess yet.

Unless that Dacia Denem estate that was on ebay a few years ago has bitten the dust.
