Slightly late but went up there on Sunday and was subject to a marvellous selection of classics and shite. Yes there were plenty of sparkling MGBs, Minis, pre war stuff, muscle cars etc but we've seen them all before. SO here's the shite instead

Pretty sure this was running a twin screwcharger V8. I estimate about 700-800bhp at the fly, probably 10 second quarters

This Triumph was awesomely shit. Imagine your neighbour's faces when you park it outside then tell them it's taxed and MOT'ed

Any show that has this as an indoor exhibit is ok in my book

At least the weather looks slightly better than last year! Was going to go but didn't have time in the end.

Shite-tastic. A great selection. Good to see my old BX is still looking exactly the same!

Does that blue BMW 525e belong to Mike Renaut, formerly of Classics Monthly, I wonder? I recall that he had a car very much like it when he wrote for the [bath-based] magazine.

Some lovely cars there.

And a PT Cruiser....

I had a good chat with the owner of the Herald at a car show in Malvern last year, all i can say is,it was the nicest, sweetest sounding car that i heard roll in to the field, all the shiny tarts handbags ran like crap in comparison, all about priorities :D

A lovely set of pics, thank you for putting them up for us.

Of course the Herald wins the day (that guy needs to be here with us!) Nice to see the ex-Wobbler mk1, ex-Colc green slug, and is this the ex_EddyRR Metro van after a re-spray?

I only ask because of the unusual number plate and he mentioned it went down south.

Is that a frigging Tarpan on the PC stand?

I stopped buying that mag after I realised I was paying for a a book of adverts every month.

Yeah I think Sam Glover brought it back from Poland

It is and he did. Thoroughly nice bloke by the way is Sam.

Pretty sure that's a different Metro van. I've been speaking to the chap who bought it via email and he doesn't strike me as the 'respray and alloys' type.
