Earlier today, I was delighted to discover the Lada Tarzan whilst not really paying attention to a rather dull conference call.

They're a rare but factory made combination of Lada Niva underpinnings and a Lada 110.  The earlier ones look cool - they've got a Samara body.

That Daihatsu Mira is so awesome, here's another one - you wouldn't want to drive the bugger in a wind though

Mini vans (the 'original' ones) are truly fucking awful.

You know you're not allowed to say that?

Those early Masters are a fantastic piece of industrial design.

Some cracking stuff here. I rememer seeing this one at a show and it's the most pointless van ever - you can't actually put anything in the back cos there's a wheel in the way.

That recovery truck (AEC Mammoth?) is a work of art.

Surprised that nobody's mentioned the Bedford HA yet:

For me, the ultimate shite van. I think they're great  :)

Driven one of those many years ago, damn quick for what they were and sweet handling.

Wasn't a BT or GPO one then. Specially tuned for economy they had a carb the size of a thimble and a 0-60 time measured in minutes, not seconds.

I seem to recall that Gas board and British Rail vans escaped the strangling.

Didn't the BT and GPO versions have 23 bhp or something similarly ridiculous?
