This thread needs resurrecting.  And the missing pictures replacing.

Today I found out there was a post-17481-0-08565300-1470693298_thumb.png

Here is the load spacepost-17481-0-29503900-1470693359_thumb.png

Yep, a seatless Rodius! How lame is that. Even I don't want.

This is better

post-17481-0-11734700-1470694108_thumb.png

but would be better still if it had metal instead of opaque windows.

I do keep looking at these. post-17481-0-17127700-1470693568_thumb.png "Baby lorry"

If they were a panel van I would find these irresistible.

Saw one of these today, despite everybody thinking I lust after a split window because I happen to own a T25 I honestly think I would rather have this.....

4x4 Sprinters?

We do get them here, there is one parked outside this office.

I havn't had a go, but I am told it feels very wobbly and is speed limited to protect the viscous wotsit in the transmision.

Part of me would love a Dangel version of the Pug / Cit Berlingo

Then I remember the BX 4x4 and its transfer box made of cheese.

Yeah I've deffo delivered to someone with a 4x4 sprinter, also the Royal Mail use Dangel Partners for some of their more rural stuff round here.

I've seen a few Sprinter 4x4s liveried up for Hydro Electric. I think they may be the replacements for the Defenders they used to use.

I imagine that 4x4 Sprinter would be like Bambi on rollerskates aquaplaning if the standard thing is anything to go by.

They don't have a viscous coupling, it's part time 4 wheel drive.

I drove one quite a bit when I worked for SSE, they are indeed replacing Defenders on the fleet.

They aren't very good at being vans or off roaders.

I saw RHD one on the beach at Weybourme in winter of 2014. I had a chat with the driver, he was with a film props company specialising in boat type stuff and said they had to have a big van to shift all their stuff. I've seen other odd Sprinters like one with extra strong drivetrain and altered gearing to pull a huge 4 wheel trailer with axles front and rear.

That 'Aftons Meyer'  one is lovely but the blue 3 wheeler is awesome - what is it?

The blue one is a Goliath Goli, the white one a Tempo Hanseat.
