Pog that looks really good, and thats a nice display you have there.Beats my 20 year old 'wooden display thingy with drawers' anyway.

That's something I've always severely lacked.....something proper to display my models on, they've always just been gathering dust on any old shelf space I had in my room, which isn't good for them OR me! Would really love a dedicated cabinet or something but I'd need the biggest one in the world or have to rotate them every few weeks to be fair to all my favourites!

Yours? I love those old Conrads! But unfortunately for the money they go for I'd rather wait & purchase the modern collector's equivalents with more detail :)I have the Passat in dark green & a very scruffy Scirocco in black but that's it. Oh also the Passat estate in light green.

Did they do a non-police XR3?

A black one is in the range, back in July I had 2 of them, 1 bought at Bromley for £14.99 (given some are offering it on eBay for around £30) & the other from Modelzone in Brighton for £12.99. I stuck one on eBay for £9.99, got £17 for it which isn't too bad :)http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0381998335

sure thing regie, what sort of price would you be prepared to pay for one though? Also, what new additions are you hoping to see for corgi next year?I think ive made my choices pretty clear haha.It still shocks me that some people charge £30 for some Vanguard models, its such a stupid price, id never pay that for one.

Also, I'm still peeved I missed out on that cheap LoM Cortina, if you come across any other sub £20 ones give me a holla! For the Avenger...hmmm...what's RRP, about £13 / 14 ?? If you can find one anything upto & including a tenner then I'd be interested, or might they be at that price already?I'd love to see them do an Ital, an Ambassador, a Maestro, a Montego, any form of escort that isn't a saloon or hatch, MkIV or V Cortina, MkI Sierra, a Maxi, MkII Granada, MkIII Granada, MkI Cavalier, Chevette (can't believe they skipped it & went straight to the Nova!!), any Carlton, Viva HC, Magnum etc, Triumph 1300 or Toledo, Mini Clubman, MkII Sierra hatch, Rover 200 MkI, Rover 800, ....don't want much do I!?!?

Yeh sorry, i almost feel as if i cheated you out of that, wish hed included stock levels on the website though.Okay will do!And to be fair, id like a model of all of them as well. What you said about the chevette is very true though, for such a well known car back then, its weird to skip it almost. But its 4 new castings this half of the year theyve made, 2 eighties and 2 sixties, so hopefully....... (but id rather seventies to sixties)Also, i foresee a MKII escort model in the future from them, itll no doubt be needed for the colin mcrae tribute, as he rallyed one quite extensively near his death...

Don't know a lot about them, only that I believe they were dealer only models in the 80s. The Jetta, Scirocco, Polo & Passat estate always made good money on eBay but that might have been before newer collector's models had come out which are higher quality / more detailed.I forgot, I've also got a B2 Audi Coupe GT5S in metallic blue. How much did they set you back can I ask?

Lansdowne? White metal....

I've been known to pay £50-100 for something I've simply gotta have but only if I strongly believe there won't be cheaper / more variations available anytime soon. I'd like to think that for something like a Ford there would always be a likelihood of a model of whatever you want emerging in diecast eventually! It's just a question of when!

So yes, I'd hang on too...

One I'm more likely to splash the cash for (due to the lesser chance of it appearing in diecast) is the white metal Avenger estate!

A tenner each - I'd be very happy with that! There was a time you would have made your money back just by selling the Scirocco or Polo on it's own for example. Not sure whether it's still the case though...

Latest additions for me are:Guinness Ford TranscontinentalVanguards Rover P6Vanguards Austin Allegro SSand i still have that granada and pogs herald on the way.

ill show a picture tomorrow, im planning a massive spot haul tomorrow so ill upload it at the same time!

I thought I'd 'maxxed out' my model-collecting last year, but, as discussed above, I saw the pictures of the Corgi Nova SR and changed my mind! Ok it was only the wonky resin promotional buck, but I want one nonetheless. Vanguards have been pretty on the button with interesting releases over the past 7 or 8 years, the best being the Avenger. I've got the white DL one complete with a real Avenger 'signature' style badge on top of the box, bought for a couple of quid from an Irish lawn-mower flogging gypo .I am waiting patiently for them to release a Maxi. They could even use the door castings from the ADO17, just like the real thing!
