A classic car dealer friend of mine currently has this for sale, not his usual bag but quite interesting none the less. The car has only had one owner who passed away recently and it's only covered 56,000 miles, I took it for a brief drive yesterday and it's spot on

In its day, without shadow of a doubt the most boring, blandest and greyest of cars to have graced the 1980s. However, now, it's really appealing and I really want one!

I had two of these.

 

Ultra reliable...a bit dull but hey, getting kind of rare these days.

I have one of these, I've spent £5 on replacement wheel centre caps and coolant but that's it.

 

 

 

 

They're absolutely great to drive, the seats are comfy and the interior is really pleasant.

I like driving it to work at night, it's just quiet and the ride is great, the dials glow white instead of that dirty green most Jap cars have from this era:

 

 

I had it up for sale for £400 (with long MOT and new tax) on Gumtree and Retro Rides and didn't get a single sniffter.

You did but I'm afraid you're too far away, whereas this is (presumably) just round the corner

Nice little motor and an early one too. Beware though - as a 1.3 it will still have the chocolate head gasket. Other than that they're great practical runabouts.
