Yes, Free and at no cost to you* (apart from fuel, time and four rawlpugs and four screws), a rather satisfying wall-mounted baby changer unit from Ikea - in cream plastic-coated metal with wipe clean plastic covers, this is an ideal accessory for the classic car-owning autoshiter with a young child. Can be mounted on the wall to suit the height of any user, and has useful storage spaces for baby wipes, nappies, gas mask and other baby changing essentials.

How much is this wonderful piece of engineering - well, I could say a tenner, I could say a fiver, but today only the reserve on this soon to be family heirloom is much less than that. In fact it is so low you wouldn't believe it if I told you, even though I did above!

Bought by its one careful owner, who had taken the life changing decision to have a child back in 2001, many weeks were spent perusing the Ikea catalogue, visiting Toys R Us and Mothercare before the decision was made to purchase this fantastic model you see here. By the time the baby arrived in April 2002, this fantastic baby changer had been mounted to the wall of the owner's bathroom, displacing a rather rickety bathroom cabinet. Sadly, after less than two years of use, often up to eight times per day, this fantastic baby changer unit was laid up, unused and unwanted after its previous user had become potty trained and no longer required nappies. A year or so later, after the purchaser had decided she would no longer be producing another child, ostensibly by threatening her husband with a swift kick to the goollies if he ever made her go through childbirth again, the baby changer was removed from the wall and placed in the shed, where it languished until the present day.

We dragged it out of the shed and were amazed to find it was in almost perfect condition. It required no paint rectification and was on its original paint from the factory still. The padded upholstery had stood the test of time and apart from a few areas of light soiling (well cleaned with baby wipes at the time) it looks as good as new.

It has had less than two years use and despite being at least ten years old, was cherished by its one owner, Mrs MO of Gloucester, who had purchsed it in Ikea on 12 February 2002. Sadly unavailable new, this is one of the few remaining Ikea wall mounted baby changers and according to How Many baby Changers Left.com there are approximately 14 left in the country, six still in use and eight on SORN.

Obviously heavily photoshopped pics in a posh location with brilliant sunshine to follow as soon as I buy said posh location and the sun shines.
