Old CAR mags for sale (first ones gone, new list shortly)

I've acquired some old CAR magazines, and need to have a clear out. There's a lot, but I'd like to offer them on here first before heading subjecting myself to the horror that is evilBay. I'll list them by year, if anyone's interested let me know. I'm asking £1 for each, I reckon postage will be £1.90 on top. They're all in really good condition considering some are over 45 years old, any questions lemme know

 

All the ones originally listed have been taken (Thanks Trig!), I'll put up new photos and a complete list of the ones I have over the weekend

 

Let me know if anyone wants any of these, will obviously combine postage if sending more than one mag. Payment by bank transfer preferably, as Paypal charge for any transactions

Wow, what a collection. Well intercepted Trig. Never read a '60s CAR before but imagine they're excellent. Beautiful cover photography, too.

I'm happy with the price, that's all that matters, they will certainly be going to a good home, I've already got nearly every issue from 1971 to 1992 so these will be a very welcome addition, Looks like I've have to fire up the scanner again!

 

Woody's told me about the others he has (I've already got them), I'm pretty sure there will be some more happy customers.

I've only had the one go funny on me, It kept leaving a line on all the scans, mind you that was after over 20000 scans so it wasn't bad going.

I'll get some of the others up tomorrow, I've acquired rather a lot so just have to decide those I want to keep (mostly 80s and 90s probably), and convince Mrs W that I've moved on enough of them! I just seriously CBA to copy and paste code after code after code from photobucket right now...

Best thing to do Woody is just take one photo from each year instead of doing a photo for each issue, you'll be there for ever otherwise!

I managed 135 photos of individual issues today, and that was just one box. There's three more boxes full yet

My collection only goes as far back as about '69 so I'd have had the whole lot off you as well.

 

I've got one or two gaps though, I think round about 82/82 and 85/86 so if you've got some from then I'd be interested.

I'll have a look tomorrow and see what I'd be after if you've got them.

Got 5yrs’ worth of ‘70s issues last night, thanks Woody! They’ll nicely fill some gaps in my collection. I’m also grateful to Trigger who got them as far as Ipswich for me. In some ways I’m disappointed not to have had the excuse to visit Clacton myself to pick them up, but time was against me.

 

I may end up with a few spare issues now, I’ll try and get them listed on here.

That said, I'd quite like to get my hands on some 90s stuff for their Rowan Atkinson / Alexei Sayle content.

Everyone loves these old CAR mags, theyr'e as good as a good book, and you can read them over and over. I'm going to sack off most of my car mag collection soon, but they'll be staying.
