I used to have one of those....A Semi-Auto....It was a super little car for the non-sporting driver....Handling was awful! :D

My search will start in the New Year....If I could find one of those 358 Espero, I'd be quite pleased....And surely it would be welcomed on here?

Yes I think it's a great idea getting an Espero ive thought before for a cheaper end car they are good looking. Last time I noticed one was afew years back for sale outside a farm for about £200 it was in dark green I think you should try and get one in that colour as it really suits them.

According to Top Gear the motoring press were very worried about Daewoo check out this motoring report on the cars with Quentin Willson:

Also did someone say Perodua Nippa heres a Top Gear mini test from 1998 with Steve Berry: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SLJdlp8dTck

That ^ Amica is made from brown paper!

Last week I saw a newer shape one at Morrisons, Sid and Doris aboard, and it occurred to me that I couldn't imagine a dopier looking vehicle:

I wouldn't mind an Espero, they make me think of my brother as he has Aspergers syndrome, which sounds a bit like Espero.

Now that would be a fine name for a car.............."ladeez and gennlemen, the new Renault Asperger"

The trouble with the Nexia and Espero was the poor quality plastics inside, poor rust proofing ( they rust more than a older Vauxhall ) and they just had that cheap nasty smell about the interior.People used to say " But it's a Astra/Cavalier underneath " ..... Yes,a early 80's Vauxhall which has been built on a tighter budget, with lesser quality components, and will be scrapped long before the car on which it was based.

Hatefull nasty cheap tack ...... They need saving though,or else they will be a car that time forgot

The Nexia is essentially an Astra made entirely with cheap Korean pattern parts.

Yeah, but was yours sad-and-lonely-gold metallic (the bloody best colour since beige) and did it have laughter lines?

What you say about the handling just makes me want it more.

This is too soon for me! :x

If it weren't for my C5's exploding windows, knackered crank pulley bearing. and oil leak (Not to mention a dog who needs a visit to the vet! :( ) I'd have a look at that....Just can't do it at the moment though.... :(

Be great to see it on here though.

The great exploding rear window is a new bond extra

It does show that they are still out there

I spotted one in the Spring :D

Hey, that's a new shape one - most obvious at the back end. Here's one of my spottings:

I'd quite like a wira or maybe a 94 corolla saloon. There's just something about the shape of them i like, probably because they look totally shit.
