Won't make this after all folks... Volvo has developed an alarming wheel wobbly/shake/general nastiness around 30mph so I'm reluctant to go far before getting it mended.

Sorry.

I'll endeavour to be there however don't expect my presence. Backshift tomorow evening and I'll like just sleep all day Saturday

Hey, We are still coming!!!!!

Mum and dad are going to try and make it through. Will we just meet you there as we have the google map you posted?

Posted

Afraid I'm going to have to drop out... been subcontracted to another company for some shuttle work tomorrow from 10.30-14.30. Apologies!

Posted

Unfortunatly I've got too much on this weekend and won't be able to make it. I'd be up for a rummage tho in January if anybodys going through once the chaos that is the "festive season" is over and done with.

I fancy a rake around that place. Have we got a map or postcode? I'll see if I can get out of whatever the wife has planned for me.

Posted

If this had been next week I would have totally been up for this as my wife is away with her friends.

If anyone's doing this tomorrow, could someone please:

1. Find out if that 440 has a part leather interior, and if so, how much...

2. Same question, only with the centre lidded console behind the handbrake.

OK, hope to see you all there around 11am, I'm not sure what the 440 interior is like, I'll try and remember to have a look tomorrow. It'll be cheap, my current interior cost £12. The prices are always too cheap here.

Posted

I'm working today as well or I would have been there. Did you get the steering cowling from that monty Hazel?

Anyone get a squizz at that 440 interior?

Lordy! That's the first time I've seen one with cloth trim without its front seats. The centre console looks spot on for what I need though, any chance of getting me a price and postage on it? Obviously I'd pay you for getting it out for me.

Posted

Price will be under a fiver at a guess, find out how much postage will be and I'll grab it next time I'm along and send it to you.

Good stuff guys.

Makes a change you dont need to swap shifts or take a holiday this time David LOL!!!

We probably wont have the montys taxed at that point but will still be good to see everyone again. :)

To be fair I think Lolvo could benfit from an ATF transplant but I'll take it a good test drive before then. Otherwise it'll be the turdblower that shows up.
