Felt this belonged here

Hi All,

Never posted before, but whilst waiting for my wheels to be swapped over on my van, this parked opposite and I felt it belonged here. Sorry for crappy iPhone on the other side of dual carriageway photography.

It appeared to be a Kia Sedona 6 wheeled limousine with odd wheels on all 3 axels, no back bumper and a boomerang aerial on the roof.

It was on a Q plate too. Was this built by Kia or is it some kind of home-brew effort?

It's a shame it doesn't seem to be getting looked after, would make the ultimate in shite-touring I think.

That renault 5 looks amazing!

Working next to an alloy wheel shop I often get some 'interesting' cars pull up, although usually just a bit shit.

Start a Jimcit's shit thread and give us something to laugh at/pick holes in

We are waiting with baited breath for you to tell us what shite is on your drive - some recent newbies have led us to high expectations but we can't all be Lord Montagu

The Kia replaced this one.

Wow, that's even better!

Here's a special from the alloy wheel shop - belongs to a really nice old Indian guy who's really proud of it - apparently the corner shop buys in new bits for him to stick on:

My driveway currently features a Citroen Acadiane as it's been usurped from the garage for a few days:

It was once put on here when it was at Retro Warwick (how I found this website).

It's rather tatty, but treated it to some new wheels today, I'm counting down the days until they invent white duct tape to sort the door bottoms out.

I've also got a brown golf cabriolet (currently missing its roof) and a proportion of a Mk3 Spitfire (It was my first car, but then the body fell off and my Dad had to step in to rescue it, so it's definitely more his than mine now!)

You can get white duck tape - the back of my caravan is currently held together by half a roll of emergency bodging 8)

That is actually one of the funniest cars I've seen in yonks. Hats off to you for such a brilliant start to Autoshiting and welcome along.

Fresh wheels do make a world of difference, I am currently working my way around my two cars, two wheels done with new tyres, one wheel awaiting new stock of tyres to come in and one twenty year old spare tyre still with the sticker on the tread changed over to a repainted wheels. Its a logistical nightmare because the cars have different width wheels and although I started with four spare wheels one was committed to a skip after shotblasting and the new tyres are on wheels for the Safari but have had to go on the saloon because it had a slow puncture in one tyre and a self-tapping screw in the other... ramble ramble anyone still awake?
