Do they do anything if you report them?

Looking thru the free listing weekend land rover parts and there's the choice of series 1 or 2 kits :(

AFAIK it's like selling cannabis seeds, it's what the buyer does with them that is illegal. No tax? Highest bidder "kenlivingstone69" or "michaellordashcroft" delete as applicable to your political viewpoint.

You have to laugh at the vendor of one of those listings complaining to the other fella about plagiarism.

They used to have a reporting category for V5 or VIN tags but that seems to have been removed. Still reported them, so we'll see what happens

They have gone out of their way to try and make it legit. Oh well. At least the government hasn't introduced something like MOT exception for older cars which would make this sort of thing much more commonplace. Oh. Hold on...

You'd have to be a total moron to use a '48 ID but sadly the LR world is full of total morons so I fully expect to see a 1948 Defender 90 out and about soon.

Actually, it's more likely to be used in the creation of a replica '48 with all new repro bits which then sells for ££,£££. There's been a few immaculate early LRs appear from no-where with no pre-resto pictures and then sell for mega bucks.

This thread has reminded me I've got two 2CV VIN plates and logbooks in the filing cabinet. Sadly they're worthless.

I have an NSU Prinz 4 one too

The series 2 one made £311 !

a) That's a lot of money.

B) Ebay obviously don't give a s*** as long as they get their cut.

I wonder how long it will be before some poor bloke wakes up to find his 80" missing?

Some bastard selling a log book and chassis tag/s for a Mk1 Cortina GT too. Have reported the fucker twice but fully expect eBay to do Jack Shit about it.
